By purchasing our Fountain of Youth speciality coffee you are helping to support Oxfordshire Youth, an organisation with a genuine commitment to changing young lives and making Oxfordshire a fairer, more inclusive place to live.
Young people in Oxfordshire are growing up in a county marked by deep and often overlooked inequalities. Despite being one of the wealthiest areas in the UK, Oxfordshire has some of the most unequal outcomes for children and young people, with stark disparities in educational attainment, access to mental health support, housing stability, and youth employment. In parts of the county, rates of child poverty and youth homelessness are rising, while access to safe spaces and consistent, trusted support has been eroded by years of cuts to youth services. Many young people face significant barriers to building the confidence, networks, and opportunities that others take for granted.
Oxfordshire Youth seeks to tackle these challenges head-on. As the county’s leading youth work charity, Oxfordshire Youth is addressing the inequalities that prevent young people from gaining the skills, support, and connections they need to thrive. Oxfordshire Youth works in partnership with schools, community organisations, local authorities, and businesses to deliver wide-ranging services for disadvantaged young people - including supported accommodation, mental health support, employability training, leadership development, and more. Alongside its direct work with young people, Oxfordshire Youth strengthens the wider youth sector through training, resources, and advocacy for youth work professionals and organisations across the county.
