Coffee Discovery - 80g Sample Bags

We've put together four flavour-themed Discovery sets, each containing three 80g taster bags sourced from family farms and small-scale cooperatives around the world. Each bag is enough for 5 or 6 cups, so he'll have plenty of brews from each before deciding which coffee is his favourite.

If he's been wrestling with his espresso machine and not dialled it in yet, this is a great 2-hour session. Our Barista Training is a hands-on session led by Amy, our coffee alchemist and experienced Barista. Each session is limited to 4 people and covers technique, troubleshooting, and achieving the kind of consistency that will make every cup just to his taste. Also, a spot of latte art - he'll learn how to pour the classic heart design beloved by all Baristas.

Coffee Enthusiast Experience eGift Voucher

Broader in scope than the Barista Training, our Coffee Enthusiast Experience covers the full bean-to-cup journey for a class size of 8 people. It will guide him from how coffee is grown and processed, through to flavour profiling, cupping, and hands-on brewing with the V60 and AeroPress. Also led by Amy. Sage Precision Coffee Scales

A scoop tells you very little - coffee density varies widely across different roasts and grind sizes - so the same scoop can yield different results from one bag to the next. Weighing your dose and your water gives consistency and something to actually adjust when the cup isn't quite right. These scales measure coffee grounds from 0.1g to 3kg.
